• October 24, 2008: The Jubilee year will begin on October 24, 2008 with a Mass to be celebrated at St. Ignatius Loyola Cathedral at 7:00 PM. This Mass will be open to all and will be followed by a reception in the Cathedral Hall.

  • October 24, 2008: Coffeehouse for Young Adults: Following the Mass and reception on October 24th, our young adults will hold their first Coffeehouse in the Cathedral Hall. They plan to make this a regular event at different locations throughout the Diocese.

  •  Forty hour Devotion will take place on a predetermined schedule provided to each parish, so that Eucharistic adoration will be taking place throughout the Jubilee Year. Refer to the schedule on this site.
     
  • February 1, 2009: World Day for Consecrated Life: The Religious of our Diocese will join together for a Holy Hour/Benediction and in celebration of our 25th anniversary at 2:30 PM at St. Ann Parish, West Palm Beach.

  • February 8, 2009: Catholic Youth in Action: A youth/young adult walk and festival on Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach. This event will be open to all ages and include Mass celebrated by Bishop Barbarito as well as ethnic music and food.

  • February 18, 2009: A dinner/social event for all priests of the Diocese to be held at St. Edward Parish, Palm Beach.
  • Deanery Masses: A special Mass celebrating our 25th year will be offered by Bishop Barbarito in each Deanery. This 7:00 PM liturgy will be preceded by a dinner for the priests of each respective deanery. These events will give people a chance to participate in this 25th Jubilee at a location closer to home. The dates and locations are as follows:
    • Southern Deanery
    		 January 16, 2009, St. Vincent Ferrer Parish
    • Central Deanery
    		 March 19, 2009, St. Juliana Parish
    • Cathedral Deanery
    		 June 5, 2009, St. Christopher Parish
    • Northern Deanery
    		 September 25, 2009, St. Helen Parish

  • May 4 – 7, 2009: The annual Priests’ Convocation which will have the Eucharist as its theme and will feature Reverends Donald Senior, C.P. and Robin Ryan, C.P. as the main presenters. This will be an opportunity to deepen our appreciation for the Eucharist and celebrate our identity as a Eucharistic People, which is the theme for the Jubilee Year.

  • October 24, 2009: The Closing Mass and celebration will be held at the Palm Beach Convention Center on Okeechobee Blvd. in West Palm Beach, beginning at 11:00 AM.
