Division
of Division of Educational Services
This
Division serves children in out–of-school programs in Palm Beach,
Okeechobee, and St. Lucie Counties. Our mission is to provide a safe,
educational and nurturing environment for children
who would otherwise be left on their own at home. Our children are
diverse in their backgrounds and cultures. The services are available
to all regardless of race, color, creed, or national origin. We have a
preference to serve the poor.

College Bound After
School Program, Ft. Pierce The focus of this
after school program is Haitian children, ages 6 through 12 in the
city of Ft. Pierce. Daily, the program offers 30 children a nutritious
snack, homework assistance, arts and crafts and an opportunity to
learn about their culture as well as their new American culture.
Immigrant children are given special attention in acclimating to their
new environment and language. Case Management services are available
for the children and their families to assist in this acclimation
process. The after school programs of Catholic
Charities provide a safe, educational and compassionate haven for the
poorest and most environmentally disadvantaged children of the
diocese. We know that children are our future. Our goal is to help our
children grow into strong, moral young adults with a passion for life;
self sufficient with a love of learning and hope for their and our
future.
We are always accepting financial donations for
our children’s activities. Donations may be made directly to the
individual programs or to the Division Director at her address or to
the Pastoral Center in Palm Beach Gardens.
