Refugee & Resettlement (Espanol) The Reception & Placement and Cuban/Haitian Programs have as their goal to promote self-sufficiency, foster independence and the integration of the newcomers into the community
and their new society. To reach these goals, the agency provides the following services:

• Affidavit of Relationship and Visa 93 filing

• Pre-arrival services

• Arrival and reception services

• Case management services

• Orientation and acculturation

• Unaccompanied minor assessment of suitability and services

• Support services and referrals for health, employment, child care, education and benefits

• Transportation services

• Applications for work authorization and Social Security cards

• One month of financial assistance for R&P cases only

Los programas de bienvenida y ubicación para Cubanos y Haitianos tienen como meta principal el fomentar la autonomía, independencia e integración de los recién llegados a la comunidad y a su nueva sociedad. Para lograr estos objetivos, la agencia provee los siguientes servicios:

• Aplicación para el Affidávit de relación y Visa 93

• Servicios previos a la llegada

• Llegada y servicios de bienvenida

• Servicios de asesoramiento del caso

• Orientación y adaptación a la nueva cultura

• Asesoramiento de servicios para menores sin acompañamiento

• Servicios de soporte y referencias para salud, empleo, cuidado de niños, educación y beneficios

• Servicios de transporte

• Aplicación para autorización de trabajo y tarjetas de Seguro Social

• Un mes de asistencia financiera exclusivamente para casos de R&P
