DAY OF REFLECTION

The Florida Conference of Offices of Black Catholic Ministry will host a Southern Dioceses Day of Reflection hosted by the Diocese of Palm Beach, on Saturday October, 21, 2006, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 100 West 20th Street in Riviera Beach, at 9:00 a.m. The theme for the day is "Getting on the Good Foot, Runnin to the Kingdom of God." Fr. Charles Smith of the Diocese of Indianapolis will be the keynote speaker. The purpose of the day is to educate, evangelize, encourage and develop leadership among God’s people, by sharing our history, culture and spirituality. The day ends with the 4:00 p.m. Mass celebrated by Bishop Gerald M. Barbarito. Please join us for this powerful celebration of praise and worship. Free breakfast and lunch provided.
