22nd Annual Peace and Justice
Interfaith Prayer Service January 15
The
22nd Anniversary of the Peace and Justice Interfaith Prayer Service
in Honor of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Monday, January
15, 2007, at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola, 9999 N. Military
Trail in Palm Beach Gardens, at 6:30pm.
The
Most Rev. Gerald M. Barbarito, Bishop of Palm Beach will preside.
The main speaker for the evening is Rev. Julian P. Harris, Pastor of
St. Thomas Moore, in Boynton Beach. Our theme for this year’s
celebrations is “Getting on the Good Foot; Runnin to the Kingdom of
God.” There will be a photo presentation by Mr. Flip Schulke. Mr.
Schulke is an international acclaimed photo journalist, who has
received many awards for his photographs. Local church choirs will
provide the music and there will be a dance performance by Orita
dance Group.
Join us at 6:30 p.m. for a special treat. There will be a Concert
before the prayer service, so come early and enjoy the wonderful
singing. Following the service a reception will be held in the
Cathedral Center.
