Help Nepal Earthquake Victims
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is part of a major relief effort in response to the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal on Saturday, April 24. A CRS team and its local partner, Caritas Nepal, are on the ground in some of the most affected areas, providing emergency shelter, blankets, water treatment kits and hygiene kits. CRS and Caritas Nepal plan to help 10,000 families and has made an initial commitment of $825,000 to the relief efforts. That figure is expected to rise as needs become clearer.
