All are Invited to the Chrism Mass

As part of Holy Week, on April 15 at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola in Palm Beach Gardens, the Most Reverend Gerald M. Barbarito, Bishop of the Diocese of Palm Beach, will celebrate the traditional Catholic Chrism Mass with priests from the Catholic Diocese of Palm Beach. During the Chrism Mass, Bishop Barbarito will bless the three oils* that will be used for sacramental purposes during the next year throughout all of the diocese’s 53 churches and missions. In addition to the blessing, the priests will renew their vows and those with significant ordination anniversaries will be recognized.

The diocese invites all to attend this Mass. Due to its popularity, we strongly suggest arriving early at the Cathedral.
