WASHINGTON (January 10, 2011) —Linda Hunt has been named associate general secretary and secretary of administration of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). She will join associate general secretaries Nancy Wisdo and Father J. Brian Bransfield, along with general secretary Msgr. Jenkins, in conducting the regular business of the General Secretariat on behalf of the bishops.
Before coming to USCCB, Hunt worked in the business management field, including positions at the National Science Foundation and Greater Southeast Healthcare System, where she served in several capacities and ended her 12-year tenure there as the director of employee relations and benefit services.
Hunt holds a master’s degree in business and a graduate certificate in leadership development from The Johns Hopkins University.
