The Diocese of Palm Beach is proud to have so many men interested in pursuing God’s call for their lives. Men who are studying for the priesthood are known as seminarians. Seminarians of the Diocese of Palm Beach are answering God’s call as they pursue vocations to the priesthood.
Although the Diocese of Palm Beach may use other seminaries, St. John Vianney College Seminary in Miami and St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach are the two principal seminaries utilized by the diocese for the education of its seminarians. Candidates usually begin their studies at St. John Vianney College Seminary as either degree-seeking students or students seeking to complete a Pre-Theology program. Once their studies at the college seminary are complete, they begin their theological studies at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary.
