Walk with us Lord.
We need the comfort of your presence.
Walk with us Lord.
We need the strength of your touch.
Walk with us Lord.
We cannot stand alone in being life-giving persons.
Walk with us Lord.
We are your people.

Bereavement ministry is an organized response to the needs of people grieving the death of a significant person(s) in their lives. Organized efforts to meet this call are available at parish, diocesan, and community levels, through Catholic social service agencies and independent organizations. Many parishes provide comprehensive resources throughout the cycle of loss and grieving. Contact the Director of Family Life, Cathy Loh, for additional help at 561-775-9524.

There is a Bereavement group known as GriefShare facilitated by Darin Lueken at St. Vincent Ferrer in Delray Beach.

This 13-week program is offered twice each year in the Winter/Spring and Fall and meets on Saturday mornings.  You are invited to join at any time.  For further information, call Darin at 561-289-2542 or email him at

The National Catholic Ministry to the Bereaved was formed to provide a Catholic response to bereavement, offering pastoral and spiritual support. Healing, faith and spiritual growth are sustained through understanding and education. Various resources are available through their website at
