 r James Ford. He was sentenced to death for the 1997 murders of Greg and K
 imberly Malnory in Charlotte County\, Fl. He has been on Florida’s death r
 ow ever since. He was sentenced to death on the recommendation of a jury v
 ote of 11-1. This lack of unanimity was enough for other death sentences t
 o be retroactively commuted. Ford’s appeal was denied as his sentence was 
 finalized before the Supreme Court cutoff date. The FCCB will be writing a
  letter to the governor’s office and sending out a press release.\n\nThe e
 xecution prayer vigil is scheduled for Palm Beach on Thursday February 13r
 d at 6pm ET. Catholic Charities’ Respect Life Ministry has organized a pra
 yer service at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola Chapel in Palm Beach G
 ardens on February 13rd at 5:30 p.m. Immediately following the prayer serv
 ice\, the group will proceed to the corner of Military Trail and Holly Roa
 d\, where they will silently pray for 15 minutes for Ford\, the victims\, 
 and their families.
