Young Adult and Campus Ministry

(a ministry of the Office of Catechetical Leadership and Youth/Young Adult Ministry Formation)
Young Adult Ministry helps young adults bridge the gap between their adolescent experience of faith and being fully integrated as adults in the Catholic Church. This vision is realized by connecting women and men in their late teens, 20s, and 30s, who are married and single, with God, the Church, the mission of the Church in the world, and with a peer community of faith.

The diocesan Office of Young Adult Ministry maintains to the best of its knowledge and control that the parishes are in compliance with Sons and Daughters of Light: A Pastoral Plan for Ministry with Young Adults, (National Conference of Catholic Bishops, USCC, 1997).

Through sponsorship, collaboration, and cooperation several retreats are offered throughout the year for young adults to gather and participate in a safe environment focused on their specific interests and concerns. Openness to God, prayer, praise and worship as well as a catechetical component are integral parts of the experiences.

Events and activities are planned throughout the year for our diocesan Young Adults such as retreats, religion studies and social activities.
