Middle School Math Teacher - St. Clare Catholic School
St. Clare Catholic School in North Palm Beach, Florida is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Middle School Math Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven success teaching mathematics at the middle or high school level and possess a strong understanding of effective instructional strategies and sound classroom management practices. We are looking for a collaborative team member who works closely with fellow middle school faculty in the best interest of the students and families we serve, and who contributes positively to a supportive, mission-driven school culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated success in teaching Math at the middle or high school level.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of St. Clare Catholic School and the Diocese of Palm Beach.
- Ability to engage students creatively in the learning process and create a classroom environment that motivates students to want to learn.
- Employ a variety of teaching methods to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom.
- Participate in reflective, self-directed, on-going professional development.
- Create and define goals and objectives for unit and daily lessons plans, prepare classroom activities, organize teaching materials, evaluate student performance, maintain classroom records, and manage time effectively.
- Use classroom and school-wide data to inform and improve instruction.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills/knowledge as well as a thoughtful, age-appropriate behavior management plan.
- Have knowledge of and make use of best instructional practices in the classroom.
- Submit grades and lesson plans in a timely manner.
- Incorporate faith-based activities into lesson plans and daily routines.
- Hold conferences with students, parents, administrators, and other professionals.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and retreats.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum teaching experience 3+ years, preferred
- Florida Department of Education Teaching certificate in Mathematics (Grades 5-9) or Mathematics (Grades 6-12), temporary or professional or eligible for certification.
- Strong classroom management skills for this grade level
- Respect and adherence to the mission and traditions of the Catholic Church.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other teachers, Diocesan employees, departments staff, representatives of other agencies and the general public.
- Must have clear and concise communications with students and parents.
- Must have a professional demeanor and be willing to work cooperatively with the middle school team and administration for the success of all students.
