Protection and Safeguarding of the People of God

Safe Environment Policies

Our commitment to providing a safe environment throughout the Diocese of Palm Beach is our highest priority. The Diocese of Palm Beach follows the requirements set out by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. It is important that all remain vigilant each day in the effort to protect minors and the vulnerable. All Church Personnel that must comply with the Code of Pastoral Conduct are priests, deacons, religious, seminarians, deacon aspirants, pastoral ministers, staff, and volunteers in our parishes, schools, religious institutes and societies of apostolic life, and organizations. A signed attestation must be on file confirming agreement with the conduct outlined in our Code of Conduct document. The Code of Conduct is now signed electronically in the VIRTUS application.
