Regional Young Adult Groups & Organizations
Lay Catholics have organized themselves into associations, confraternities, guilds and prayer groups, with and without official blessing of the Church for more than a thousand years. Their purpose is to help believers participate in the faith of the Church outside of the usual “formation and fellowship” programs carried out by an individual parish church. These lay associations usually adopt a specific charism, virtue or mission based on the vision, need or desire of the founding members. Lay associations continue to be a significant part of many Catholics’ lives, through thousands of organizations. Below are some of the young adult movements who call the Diocese of Palm Beach home.
“Dear young people, let yourselves be taken over by the light of Christ, and spread that light wherever you are.” - St. John Paul II
*Gather and Glorify Nights is a young adult outreach in the Diocese of Palm Beach dedicated to creating a space for personal encounter with the Lord through Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, accompanied by praise and worship music and silent meditative prayer. This space also fosters community through a time of fellowship and authentic connection.
