St. Ann Catholic School is a parochial elementary school that serves students in grades PK–8 and enrolls just over 300 students, supported by a professional, dedicated staff of approximately 40 faculty and staff members. The school is fully accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference and is an integral part of St. Ann Parish.

Position Overview
The Principal serves as the chief spiritual, academic, and administrative leader of the school community. The successful candidate will foster a strong Catholic culture rooted in Gospel values, promote academic excellence, and build positive relationships with students, families, faculty, staff, and parish leadership. The Principal is expected to be a visible, engaged presence both inside and outside the classroom and to lead with a style that is proactive, collaborative, and mission-centered.
Firm and consistent discipline, balanced with loving-kindness, respect, and compassion, is essential. The Principal will work closely with families in an engaging, transparent, and respectful manner and will collaborate with parish leadership to further the unity and mission of St. Ann Parish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual leadership that nurtures the Catholic identity of the school through prayer, sacramental life, faith formation, and daily witness.
- Serve as the instructional leader, promoting academic excellence through curriculum development, effective instructional practices, and data-informed decision-making.
- Supervise and evaluate faculty and staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, growth, and collaboration.
- Oversee daily school operations, including scheduling, student services, safety, and compliance with diocesan and accreditation requirements.
- Establish and maintain a school environment characterized by high expectations, consistency, and care for all members of the community.
- Partner with parents and guardians to support student success and strengthen school-family relationships.
- Collaborate closely with the Pastor and parish leadership to support the shared mission of St. Ann Parish.
- Lead enrollment, retention, and school advancement efforts in collaboration with parish and school stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with policies of the Diocese, Florida Catholic Conference, and state regulations.
- Manage school resources responsibly, working with the School Business Manager and parish leadership as appropriate.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church and hold the Catholic identity/culture of the school as a primary responsibility.
- Hold a minimum of a master’s degree in Educational Leadership (or related field)
- Hold or be eligible for a Florida Department of Education Administrative Certificate
- Have a clear vision and dedication to the values and philosophy of Catholic education
Additional preferred requirements include:
- A minimum of three years of Catholic elementary administrative experience
- Superior communication skills
- A collaborative leadership style to lead and embrace the mission of a 21st century Catholic elementary school
- Be knowledgeable in current areas of professional development and teacher supervision
- Exhibit excellent instructional and technological leadership
- A reliable, insured vehicle and ability to travel to locations within the Diocese of Palm Beach
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal history, background and driver’s license check
- Be able to meet the Diocese of Palm Beach, Florida Department of Education, and accrediting agency requirements for principals
