November — A Month of Hope
The month of November begins this year with our moving the clocks back an hour on its first Sunday, Nov. 2. As we do so, we are reminded, as we gain an extra hour, that time is always moving forward.
Whether you are searching for information about the diocese, parishes, and schools or about the Roman Catholic Church, I hope our diocesan website will help you.
Whether you are a full-time resident, a part-time winter resident, or a tourist visiting our area, I pray that you will enjoy your time in the diocese, and as you tour our website. May Mary, Our Lady Queen of the Apostles, patroness of the diocese, guide us in the footsteps of her Son, Jesus Christ.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Most Reverend Gerald M. Barbarito
Bishop of Palm Beach

Catholic Days at the Capitol 2026: Tuesday, February 10th to Thursday, February 12th
The lives of St. John Henry Newman and of all the saints teach Christians that "it is possible to live passionately amidst the complexity of the present without neglecting the apostolic mandate to 'shine like stars in the world,'" Pope Leo XIV said.
Father Frank D’Amato, parochial vicar at Holy Family Parish in Port St. Lucie, is one of the featured interviewees in the 30-minute EWTN documentary, “Crushed by the Woman.”
When Father Gabriel Ghanoum conducts a memorial service as part of the No One Buried Alone ministry, he kisses each container of cremated remains of those who died with no known family or friends, whispering “I love you” to each. It’s a moving moment in which he expresses gratitude to each person for the life they lived, the struggles they endured and hopefully the love that they spread.
