WEST PALM BEACH | Holy Cross Catholic Preschool and Center in West Palm Beach hosted professional development training Aug. 6, 2025, for more than 40 pre-K teachers from across our diocese who use the Frog Street curriculum. Preschools represented were Holy Cross CPC, St. Joan of Arc, St. Joseph, St. Vincent Ferrer and St. Anastasia.
Francesca Coniglio Finck, executive director of Holy Cross Catholic Preschool and Center located on Southern Boulevard, explained that research continues to show the need for strong early childhood learning to support development and critical brain wiring. Many local preschools have adopted the Frog Street curriculum for its wholistic approach.
“What makes it extra-special is that it embeds social-emotional learning at its core,” she said. “Following the Conscious Discipline methodology by Dr. Becky Bailey, the children connect to one another, their teachers and their school family before they begin the fundamentals of all other learning, creating the basis for their education while also deepening their faith.”
