Realtors unite in faith

Following Mass, Bishop Gerald M. Barbarito poses for a photo with the Catholic Realtors group at St. Jude Parish in Boca Raton.

BOCA RATON | Bishop Gerald M. Barbarito presided Dec. 5, 2025, at a Mass and luncheon with a group of Catholic Realtors at St. Jude Parish in Boca Raton. He was joined by Carmelite Fathers John Horan and Christopher Iannizzotto, St. Jude’s pastor and parochial vicar, respectively, along with Father Brian King, episcopal secretary.

During his homily, the bishop spoke of his happiness at celebrating with the real estate agents on the first Friday of Advent, “because you continue to demonstrate your faith, not only as a part of your life that’s essential and important, but your faith as a part of your life that pertains to everything. We don’t separate our faith from who we are, we don’t separate our faith from what we do. We bring that faith to the practice of what we do, and you as Catholic Realtors do that in a very significant way.”

Bishop Barbarito concluded by saying, “May God continue to bless you. May he continue to fill you with his peace and with his joy, and as we continue with the season of Advent and the celebration of the Eucharist, may the Lord’s presence be among us, a presence that we don’t leave here — a presence that we bring with us.”

Catholic Realtors who are interested in joining the group are encouraged to contact Deborah Bacarella at info@DeborahBacarella.Realtor or 561-239-2300.
