16th Annual Bernard & Betty Egan Memorial Golf Classic-Cancelled

June 3, 2022, 12:00 pm Check-In 1:00 pm Shotgun Start

This was cancelled due to the weather.

The Samaritan Center Advisory Board is holding the 16th Annual Bernard & Betty Egan Memorial Golf Classic. The golf outing will take place Friday, June 3, 2022, at Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club. Bernard Egan and his wife Betty were some of the founding members of the Samaritan Center who realized the need to help homeless families in Indian River County.

The Samaritan Center, a program of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Palm Beach, is a comprehensive, multi-level homeless program for families in Indian River County that offers a proven solution to homelessness. To date, the Samaritan Center has provided shelter to over 1950 residents including over 1075 children. The Samaritan Center is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and has an operation budget of over $647,000. Private donations and grants along with our fundraising efforts account for more than 75% of the donations received at the Samaritan Center.

This year, the Golf Tournament registration fees: $200/Person, $800/Foursome will include all associated golfer fees, lunch, 2 mulligans, door prize ticket and participation in all course games including the golf ball launcher. All proceeds received go directly to benefit families living at the Samaritan Center. Sponsorship opportunities are available, and the Bernard Egan Foundation is generously matching sponsorship contributions dollar to dollar.
