Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord
The Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord is traditionally celebrated on the fortieth day after Easter Sunday. In most U.S. Ecclesiastical Provinces, such as our own, the celebration is transferred to the following Sunday.
