Respect Life Ministry Prayer Service
Florida Governor, Ron Desantis has signed a death warrant for U.S. Army Veteran Dennis Sochor . He was sentenced to death for the 1982 murder of Patricia Gifford. The execution is scheduled for 6pm Tuesday July 14 at 6pm ET.
Catholic Charities’ Respect Life Ministry has organized a prayer service at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola Chapel in Palm Beach Gardens on July 14 starting at 5:30pm. During the prayer service we will be praying for Sochor, the victim, and both of their families.
The Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops will be writing a letter to the governor’s office and sending out a press release.
