He urged everyone to appreciate those working behind the scenes to save the lives of innocent babies. May we continue to cry out to the Lord to recover what we have lost in our lives and bring more children into the world, Father Lopez added.

Luis Gonzalez, leader of St. Bernadette’s Respect Life ministry, said Father Lopez’s “strong defense of life from conception to natural death encourages all of us to help create a robust culture of life. This includes the strong support we provide to all the moms and children through the pro-life pregnancy centers in our area.”

The Mass was followed by praying of the rosary, led by April Laughlin. Gonzalez thanked Deanna Herbst-Hoosac, Respect Life ministry leader in the Diocese of Palm Beach, and parishioners from local churches. “I challenge everyone to come out of their comfort zone and do that little extra to defend life,” he said.
