Teaching the administrators and educators

Former classroom teacher Father Serge Dubé leads a session for principals and presidents at Our Lady of Florida Spiritual Center

NORTH PALM BEACH | The diocesan Office of Catholic Schools hosted an annual retreat for school presidents and principals March 10 at Our Lady of Florida Spiritual Center, with Father Serge Dubé serving as retreat director.

The day included time for fellowship, quiet prayer, meals, Mass and thoughtful presentations on the importance of personal prayer in the life of a school leader. Drawing upon his own experiences as a teacher at Rosarian Academy and Cardinal Newman High School, Father Dubé exhorted the school administrators to maintain a strong prayer life rooted in the hope of the Gospel and Jesus Christ.  The day concluded with a period of quiet meditation time on the grounds of the retreat center.
