DELRAY BEACH  |  Thirty-nine juniors and seniors from Cardinal Newman, John Carroll and St. John Paul II high schools gathered Feb. 27, 2026, at the Duncan Conference Center/Amoris Christi campus in Delray Beach for the annual Re-Focus retreat hosted by the diocesan Office of Vocations and Seminarians. The goal was to help the invited students connect with God on an intimate level.

Bishop Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez celebrated Mass with the retreatants. The day also included time for prayer with Eucharistic adoration and lectio divina, vocation talks, small-group discussion, a question-and-answer session, the sacrament of reconciliation, and opportunities for fellowship and outdoor activities.

Seminarian Dylan McKay spoke about prayer, seminarian Ruben Garza shared his vocation story and Carmelite Sister Kevin Patricia Lynch, CEO of Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence in West Palm Beach, talked about her faith journey. Lunch was served by members of the Serra Club of South Palm Beach County and the Knights of Columbus.
