Tribunal/Canonical Affairs

The Office of Tribunal/Canonical Affairs is established by Canon Law as the judicial arm of the Bishop’s government of the diocese. As such, it is the court system of the Church and the canonical forum for the resolution of legal questions arising from the activity of the Church, its entities and of the faithful.

Through a judicial process, the Tribunal also works in conjunction with the Ministry of Marriage and Family in all matters of permission when couples prepare for marriage and in dispensations/annulments.
