The Port St. Lucie councils of the Knights of Columbus will host the “Line to see Jesus” event, Dec. 5 at Lawnwood Stadium in Ft. Pierce from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Dec. 12, at Clover Stadium in Port St Lucie from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In efforts to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines, this will be a drive-through in the stadiums’ respective parking lots where social distancing is possible. Christmas toy donations for needy families and monetary donations to help feed the hungry through the St. Vincent De Paul Society and Sarah’s Kitchen will be collected.
The theme for this year’s event is “Only through Jesus, can we bring unity to our community.” All Christian churches in the county are invited to take part in this ecumenical event.
In efforts to maintain its “Keep Christ in Christmas” campaign, the Knights of Columbus continue their charitable efforts through the creation of the ChristWreath symbol, which has been incorporated into seasonal items such as door wreaths, jewelry, holiday décor and more. These items will be available for purchase at the event and all proceeds will go towards charities supported by the Knights of Columbus.
