In 2018, Emmanuel Parish celebrated 35 years of service to the community. “Our vision was to make our parish a family,” said Father Gaudioso Zamora, parochial administrator, who has been with the parish for 15 years in various roles of ministry and officially appointed parochial administrator recently. “As a family, we pray together. We worship together. We help each other. We are one family of God,” he said.
Father Zamora, a native of the Philippines, celebrated his 28th year in the priesthood, and is excited moving forward with a new team of parish ministers. The new staff includes Director of Religion, Jean Krodus, and Youth Minster, Ryan Gustin, both of whom have fresh ideas.
Emmanuel Parish has a strong Knights of Columbus KofC, Florida State Council Blessed Mother Council 13338, which is currently hosting a food drive and an active National Council of Catholic Women organization and Ladies Guild that meets on the first Tuesday of the month.
The parish offers activities for spiritual growth, socializing and adoration, plus praise and worship nearly every day of the week. A few months ago the parish hosted the Catholic Charities Birthline/Lifeline 11th Annual Walk-A- Thon to support Catholic Charities Palm Beach.
