Catholic Charities USA has been in the Panhandle and the areas that have sustained the most damage and has assessed that the greatest need at this time is for baby diapers, baby wipes and baby food or formula. We can make the largest impact by asking everyone in our diocese to help collect these items and we will then coordinate delivery of them to our sister agency, Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida. We have staff and volunteers who just returned from making a large delivery to the Panhandle, and our next trip will be within the next 2 weeks. Our drop-off centers are listed below:
St. Francis Center 100 W. 20th Street in Riviera Beach (561) 345-2000
Birthline/Lifeline Office 212 E. Boynton Beach Blvd in Boynton Beach (561)278-0880 (please indicate that your donation is for Hurricane Michael)
Pastoral Center 9995 N. Military Trail in Palm Beach Gardens (561) 775-9560
Diocese of Palm Beach, Catholic Charities Associate Director, Alex Stevens, took these photos last weekend while helping in the Panhandle. Just devastating.
Thank you for agreeing to help Catholic Charities with this very important mission.
