Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Palm Beach is excited to announce the 34th Annual State Culture of Life Conference, October 23-24, 2020 at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola Family Life Center in Palm Beach Gardens.

The Diocese of Palm Beach hosts the conference every seven years, in conjunction with the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops, and will continue the event both in person with social distancing precautions and livestreaming capabilities.

The event’s lectures include discussions on Theology, Assisted Suicide, Pregnancy Care and Capital Punishment. Abby Johnson, author of the book Unplanned and inspiration for the recent movie of the same name, will be the keynote speaker. The conference will also include a youth rally component.

Deanna Herbst-Hoosac, program administrator for Catholic Charities Respect Life Ministry, shared, “We are pleased to be able to offer this conference to gain perspective on today’s culture of life and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Pope Saint John Paul II’s, Evangelium Vitae.

Herbst-Hoosac invites the diocesan community to join in prayer and to also consider assisting with this effort by making a financial contribution to the Catholic Charities’ Respect Life office.
