The Diocese of Palm Beach is proud to announce the launch of a new website for its Office of Catholic Schools. Previously the Office of Catholic Schools had web pages on the main website of the diocese. Now the office has its own website address of www.diocesepbschools.org which has more features and increases the online visibility and presence of the diocese’s 19 schools.
The new website features a more informative profile of each school including short videos so parents of prospective students can learn more about the unique characteristics of a diocesan school. Website visitors will also find: easy navigation and topical tabs of interest such as “Why Attend a Catholic School” and “Affordability” of a Catholic school education; the continuing successful implementation of the diocese’s school academic strategy Strategic Vision 2020: Charting a Course for Excellence; an enhanced school map locator that allows a prospective parent to located a diocesan school by city or zip code, and includes a search filter to allow a school to be located within a certain radius/miles of a city or zip code; news from the schools; and an opportunity to sign up for School E-News, a new e-newsletter featuring diocesan schools.
Additionally visitors to www.diocesepbschools.org will notice a large social media presence on the website. The website is also responsive to electronic viewing devices which means whether utilizing a computer, a tablet or cell phone, the website adjusts to the device being used in order to allow for optimal viewing and interaction experience so visitors will see all the information.
The Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Palm Beach, Gary Gelo, is pleased with the technology-advanced website and believes it will help more to learn about the wonderful opportunities available by attending a Catholic school.
States Gelo “I am very pleased with our new website for Catholic schools in the Diocese of Palm Beach. It increases information available to our current parents, as well as providing prospective families with information about the diocese and individual Catholic schools. We expect our new website to be well-received by the community just as our increased presence on social media through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram has also been”
